An elegant Edwardian ladies' writing desk in the Sheraton Revival style, crafted from richly figured flame mahogany. The raised back section features a decorative pierced-brass gallery above a row of small drawers and pigeonholes, providing both charm and practicality.

The writing surface is inlaid with a leather insert and cross-banded satinwood stringing, typical of the refined cabinet-making of the 1900–1910 period. The piece stands on slender tapered legs with brass castors, combining delicacy with a generous writing surface.
